Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to the XVI. Turkish Society Of Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy & Knee Surgery Congress, which will be held at Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Hotel between October 10-14, 2023.

As the biggest event of the Turkish Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Association (TUSYAD) organizes the congress with international participants every other year. Besides congresses, our association contributes greatly to the training of our colleagues who are interested in sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery in our country, by holding plenty of courses at different levels. All these efforts have ensured that our association is internationally recognized today. It is our honour to have the XVI. congress, in the same year as the 100^th anniversary of the establishment of Turkish Republic and 36^th anniversary of TUSYAD Association.

In our congress, sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, all aspects of knee surgery, knee arthroplasty will be discussed in detail, and shoulder, elbow, hip, foot/ankle, wrist arthroscopic surgery, cartilage regeneration, and technologies will be the main topics. In addition to our esteemed local colleagues, specialists from all around the world will be sharing their invaluable expertise. Our congress has been the most important interactive sharing platform in Turkey with its scientific content and high participation rate where the latest professional developments are discussed in the field of sports injuries, arthroscopy, and knee surgery. We have been bringing like-minded physicians together and the tradition will continue with the XVI. congress.

The objective of our congress is not only to share knowledge and experience among physicians. In orthopedic surgery, materials and drugs that emerge as a result of many technological developments, such as prostheses and implants used in the treatment of patients, are integral parts of the treatment. The attendance of the companies that produce and deliver the materials used in orthopedic surgery and the medication such as painkillers, antibiotics, and various other drugs that contribute to cartilage regeneration, which we use in the treatment of our patients, are highly important. There will be Satellite symposiums and workshops where current technology and developments can be introduced, which will provide a direct communication pipeline between companies and participants. The exchange of information between the companies and participants will enrich our congress.
